A Glimpse of Heaven

I recently borrowed a DVD full of Christian songs off my brother to add to the small collection I have. I scanned through them quite quickly to place some on my ipod. Today on the way to work I listened to some of the songs during the bus trip and for a moment I saw a glimpse of what heaven would be like.

Heaven's air will be filled with songs and choruses and choirs praising God. It'd be like walking down a superior architecturally designed chamber into a huge concert hall consumed with songs of praise and your heavenly skin will sense there is something magical in the air. The awe you are filled with will never cease, the excitement you will never tire of. It'd be like combining the sensation during Christmas season when choirs group in shopping malls, the city streets filled with talented musicians and a cultural festival celebrating harmony. However in heaven it will be a thousand times better and perfect.

Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee.

God in three persons, blessed Trinity!

Holy, holy, holy! All the saints adore thee,
casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea;
cherubim and seraphim falling down before thee,
